The Sound Librarian App is a free program from Korg. It helps you keep, save, and load sounds on your Korg Minilogue XD. You can see all your sounds in a list, move them around, add new ones from your computer, and make a backup so you don’t lose them.
First, go to the Korg website and download the Sound Librarian App for Windows or Mac. Install it by following the steps on the screen.
Then, plug your Korg Minilogue XD into your computer with a USB cable. Turn on your Minilogue XD, then open the Sound Librarian App.
When you open the app, you will see a list of presets that include factory sounds and custom patches. If you want to move a preset, simply drag and drop it to a new location.
To load a new preset, click File > Import, choose your sound file, and place it in the list. Finally, click Write to Minilogue XD to save your changes.
To make sure you never lose your favorite sounds, you can create a backup. Click File > Export to save your presets on your computer. If you ever need to restore them, click File > Import and reload your saved sounds.
