GFI System, renowned for its innovative guitar effects, introduces its latest technological achievement – the Solis Ventus. This advanced pedal combines delay and reverb functions in a unique system powered by dual independent DSP engines.
Dual-Engine: Two DSP Engines for Maximum Control
At the heart of the Solis Ventus are two independent DSP engines that allow simultaneous use of 15 delay algorithms and 9 reverb algorithms. Users can combine these effects in various configurations, such as:
Series: where the signal flows through the delay and then the reverb.
Parallel: both effects operate simultaneously and independently.
Ping-Pong and Stereo: for dynamic and spatial effects.
Dual Mono: each engine processes a separate channel.
Dynamic Signal Processing
A standout feature of the Solis Ventus is the Dynamics Engine, which allows dynamic ducking or gating to be applied to any delay or reverb algorithm. This makes the effect more responsive and natural sounding.
Additionally, the pedal includes a switchable crossover filter that splits the input signal into two frequency bands. Each band can be independently processed with different algorithms, offering unmatched flexibility for shaping your tone. For added creativity, the crossover frequency can even be modulated via MIDI.

Looper and Stompbox Mode
The 40-second stereo looper enables users to layer sounds and build complex textures. Furthermore, the Stompbox Mode simplifies setup by assigning one footswitch to control each DSP engine, transforming the pedal into an intuitive, dual-stompbox configuration.
Comprehensive Control and Compatibility
Two touch sliders provide precise adjustments for Mix, Crossover, and Dynamics Engine parameters. The Solis Ventus also supports tap tempo, MIDI control, and 96 presets, giving users extensive customization options. With both instrument and line-level compatibility, the pedal works seamlessly with guitars, synthesizers, and other instruments.
Advanced Features in a Compact Design
Despite its advanced capabilities, the Solis Ventus maintains a compact form factor that integrates easily into any pedalboard. Users can choose between true bypass and buffered bypass modes, ensuring optimal signal flow for various setups. Building upon the legacy of the Specular Tempus, the pedal includes its entire algorithm library, now refined and expanded with exciting new effects.
